The balcony faces west, so the afternoons are bright and sunny, and you get an awesome sunset almost every night. It's very private and beautiful all seasons of the year. Watch the leaves turn in the fall, watch people skating on the river in the winter, watch the ice break up and leaves come in in the spring... Summers are awesome: On the nights without a sunset, you get to watch the thunderstorms come in from the west. We ate dinner on the balcony almost every night, and had drinks on the balcony almost very weekend. There's also an outdoor pool open for the summer.
